Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SQL, Python, Dataiku, and Tableau, along with a proven ability to analyze complex datasets and generate actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role requires a combination of technical proficiency, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets to derive actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Develop advanced SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
- Design and implement Python-based scripts and code for complex data processing and analysis.
- Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reports, dashboards, and BI solutions using Tableau (or Power BI/Looker Studio).
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes to ensure efficient data integration and workflow.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using SQL and Python.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work alongside data scientists, analysts, and engineers to develop data-driven solutions.
- Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in data management and reporting.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including data dictionaries, pipeline workflows, technical specifications, and reporting guidelines.
- Provide training and support to team members on data tools, dashboards, and reporting processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 35 years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Engineering, or related roles.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying, transforming, and optimizing large datasets.
- Strong programming skills in Python (data manipulation, automation, analysis).
- Expertise in Tableau / Power BI / Looker Studio for developing interactive dashboards and reports.
- Hands-on experience with Dataiku and/or GCP for ETL and data processing (preferred).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL design, and data pipeline architecture.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Preferred / Added Advantage Skills
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or Scikit-learn.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure.
- Exposure to automation and workflow orchestration tools.
