GTM Data Analyst

Services Description

Enable, triage, prioritize, and answer questions from the sales and marketing teams via Slack and Jira. This includes:

  • Automate reporting and visualization of core business metrics in Hubble Dashboards (inhouse tool built on Presto, SQL, React JS and Plotly).
  • Ad-hoc Analysis in Tableau.
  • Provide operational support for Analytics & Insights initiatives.
  • Ensure quality of data and accuracy of downstream reporting through precise attention to detail.
  • Create analyses that tell a story focused on insights, not just data.
  • Create sales enablement materials.

Qualifications

  • 6+years of experience in Data Analytics, with a focus on analyzing large data sets to solve problems and building user-friendly dashboards.
  • Experience wrangling imperfect data and writing efficient SQL.
  • Some coding experience Python, React Javascript, Plotly (charts).
  • Beginner to intermediate knowledge in creative data visualization in Tableau.
  • Experience creating dashboard documentation for end users.
  • Communicate clearly, proactively, and concisely with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and frequently changing environment.

Job Summary

  • Strong SQL capability (able to run, update, and debug queries; intermediate level expected)
  • Dashboard maintenance and reporting (especially in Hubble)
  • Salesforce reporting and dashboard experience (managing accounts/opps, troubleshooting reports)
  • Strong spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets/Excel: SUMIFS, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables)
  • Attention to detail, QA mindset, debugging and data validation
  • Good communication and collaboration (soft skills, energy, ability to work under tight deadlines)
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and prioritize across tasks

Build, maintain, and refresh GTM dashboards (xBR dashboard, SA dashboard, Performance dashboards) in Hubble and dashboarding tools

  • Prepare and support weekly business reviews (WBR), including data refreshes, validation, commentary, and slide/deck support
  • Produce weekly deal lists and MBR/QBR data packs; review week-over-week changes and historical pacing
  • QA and troubleshoot queries and dashboards; triage bugs and work with Genesis / devs for fixes
  • Run/refresh SQL queries, update queries as product/metrics change
  • Monitor commit/status checks, ensure dashboard widgets/tabs function; perform dashboard discovery and incremental edits
  • Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests and support CRM/Salesforce reporting and issue analysis
  • Triage incoming requests via Slack/Asana and prioritize low-to-medium effort contractor task
