Key Responsibilities:
Data Modeling:
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with IBM UDMH.
- Extend IBM UDMH models to meet custom organizational requirements.
- Create source-to-target mapping documents and maintain data lineage.
Data Analysis & Profiling:
- Conduct comprehensive data profiling across healthcare systems (Epic, Cerner, Athena, Oracle FDI).
- Assess data quality, granularity, volume, and frequency.
- Ensure consistency and reliability of healthcare datasets.
Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define subject-area models.
- Align with data modeling standards and naming conventions.
- Document metadata and maintain data governance protocols.
Tools & Technical Skills:
- Use ER/Studio, ERwin, PowerDesigner for data modeling.
- Utilize SQL, Python, and Unix for ETL scripting and data transformation.
- Work with Snowflake, Hadoop, Spark, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
