Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee 2-Hour/Same-Day Delivery Operations (Inbound, Outbound, Inventory Management, etc) across our dark stores in Periamet, Chennai.
- Work closely with Zippee customers (D2C/Marketplaces/E-Commerce Brands) and support them in expansion/growth.
- Ensure 100% success rate in Same-Day Fulfillment & adhere to dark store SLAs such as inbound, inventory management, outbound, manpower planning, rostering, training, employee engagement, vendor partnerships, COD management.
- Hire, manage & motivate the dark store team (inventory controllers, pickers, packers, store captains, and delivery riders).
- Weekly inventory audits, COD reconciliation, hiring, & MIS reporting to Management.
- Help create a rockstar culture amongst the team to scale to profitability.
Qualifications
- 3-7 years of Operations or Warehousing Experience, preferably at Quick Commerce/Supply Chain/Warehousing/Logistics tech companies.
- MUST have strong communication & team management skills
- You must have hands-on experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP, inventory management software, etc.
- You must have a local network of dark store/warehousing/operations/last-mile delivery associates.
