We are looking for a Dance Teacher (Classical & Western) with a minimum of 0-5 years of experience.
Responsibilities include planning lessons, ensuring student safety, managing costumes/props for performances, and promoting a positive, creative environment. Requirements often include a degree in dance and 1-5 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Instruction & Curriculum: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate dance lessons covering classical (e.g., Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam) and western styles (e.g., Hip-hop, Jazz, Contemporary).
- Choreography: Design and choreograph performances for school annual days, assembly, cultural programs, and competitions.
- Student Development: Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and build confidence through movement.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a safe and encouraging environment during practice and performances.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain attendance records, coordinate costumes, and manage inventory of audio/studio equipment.
Qualifications And Skills
- Education: A degree or diploma in dance from a recognized institution (e.g., Bachelor of Performing Arts).
- Experience: 15 years of teaching experience, preferably in a CBSE.
- Expertise: Proficiency in both classical and western dance forms.
- Language: Fluency in English is required for communication with students and parents.
