D365 Retail Functional Consultant

Pradeepit Consulting Services is actively seeking a D365 Retail Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role requires proven experience in implementing and supporting Microsoft POS systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail. You'll bring hands-on experience in D365 FO Commerce development and a strong understanding of retail business processes to deliver effective solutions and support client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• System Implementation & Support: Implement and support Microsoft POS systems, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail or Microsoft Retail Management System (RMS).
• D365 FO Commerce Development: Engage in hands-on development within D365 FO Commerce.
• Retail Operations Expertise: Utilize good exposure to Retail Store Commerce/MPOS, and foundational understanding of TypeScript, C#, CRT (Commerce Runtime), and Hardware Station.
• Technical Documentation & Testing: Create technical design documents and conduct unit testing of developed components. Possess the ability to understand Functional Design Documents (FDDs).
• Business Process Alignment: Apply a strong understanding of retail business processes, including inventory management, sales, and customer relationship management, to align solutions with client needs.
• Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Effectively analyze and resolve technical issues, demonstrating excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Client Interaction: Interact effectively with clients to understand their needs, showcasing strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Project Management: Work independently and as part of a team, adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously within a time and material engagement model.

Skills

• Proven experience in implementing and supporting Microsoft POS systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail or Microsoft Retail Management System (RMS).
• Hands-on experience with D365 FO Commerce development.
• Good exposure to Retail Store Commerce/MPOS.
• Knowledge of TypeScript, C#, CRT (Commerce Runtime), and Hardware Station.
• Ability to conduct unit testing of developed components.
• Proficiency in the creation of Technical Design Documents.
• Ability to understand FDDs (Functional Design Documents).
• Strong understanding of retail business processes, including inventory management, sales, and customer relationship management.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with other Microsoft technologies, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SQL Server, and Azure, is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration).
• Proven experience as a D365 Retail Functional Consultant.
• Typically seeking candidates with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail or Microsoft Retail Management System (RMS) is desirable.
