Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) - Senior Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Finance modules. This role requires a balanced mix of hands-on Individual Contributor (IC) responsibilities and leadership, including team management, client engagement, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Own solution architecture within D365 F&O, with a strong focus on native integration capabilities and extensibility frameworks
- Design and implement robust integrations using D365 F&O services, OData, custom services, and Data Entities, enabling seamless connectivity with external systems
- Lead development of inbound and outbound integrations, including file-based integrations (XML/CSV), batch jobs, and real-time service endpoints
- Architect and optimize data movement and synchronization using Data Management Framework (DMF), BYOD, and Dual-write (where applicable)
- Develop and maintain advanced X++ solutions, including custom services, classes, extensions, forms, and business logic, ensuring integration readiness
- Define and enforce integration design standards, including data contracts, transformation logic, error handling, retry mechanisms, and logging within D365
- Build and manage SSRS reports and reporting frameworks, leveraging BYOD and D365 data entities for scalable analytics solutions
- Perform code reviews and technical validations, ensuring adherence to best practices in performance optimization, security, and maintainability
- Lead release management within D365 lifecycle, including build, deployment, and validation of integration components and customizations
- Mentor and guide the development team on D365 architecture, X++ best practices, and integration patterns specific to F&O
- Drive client interactions, requirement analysis, and solution walkthroughs with a strong emphasis on integration feasibility and scalability
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into efficient, scalable D365-centric solutions
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O / CE)
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- X++ Development
- BYOD
- SSRS Reporting
- Experience in customizations, extensions, and integrations
- Strong understanding of D365 Finance modules
- Proven experience in a Technical lead role with IC responsibilities
- Experience in team handling, client management, and stakeholder management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Knowledge of Azure services and cloud integrations
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
