About the Role
We're building Yell into a category-defining luxury brand rooted in quiet confidence, craftsmanship, and timeless design.
To support this growth, we are hiring a D2C Marketing Manager who will take full ownership of the brand's growth engine strategy, execution, numbers, people, and outcomes.
This is a core leadership role, reporting directly to the founder.
You will run the entire marketing ecosystem, manage the internal team, drive KPIs, set targets, and ensure the brand grows sustainably and profitably.
If you've scaled premium brands like Nicobar, Andamen, Nappa Dori, Ogaan, Perona, House of Masaba Luxe, etc., this role is for you.
Role Purpose
To build and scale the Yell D2C business by owning:
- Revenue growth
- Marketing strategy
- Team management
- Brand performance
- Customer acquisition & retention
- KPI tracking & optimisation
- Annual & quarterly planning
- Budget allocation
You are responsible for the brand's commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Growth & Strategy (Top Priority)
- Build and execute the complete D2C growth strategy for the brand
- Set monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue objectives
- Identify growth bottlenecks & solve them quickly
- Lead planning for new launches, campaigns, sales cycles, and festive events
- Strengthen luxury positioning while ensuring commercial outcomes
2. Performance Marketing Oversight
- Manage Meta, Google, and Retargeting strategies with internal/external teams
- Build a creative strategy for paid ads (along with the creative team)
- Analyse CAC, ROAS, LTV, returning customer rate & attribution
- Spot growth opportunities across audiences, platforms & funnels
3. Team Management & Leadership
You will lead the content strategist, performance marketers, social media team, CRM/retention team, and agency partners.
- Set KRAs & KPIs for each team member
- Ensure alignment across teams (content, ads, creative, CRM, website)
- Conduct weekly reviews & performance check-ins
- Build a culture of ownership, creativity, and accountability
You are the marketing captain of the brand.
4. Website & Conversion Ownership
- Oversee CRO (conversion rate optimisation)
- Ensure the website communicates luxury + clarity
- Work on UI, UX, product pages, home page strategy & optimisation
- Ensure a smooth customer journey across all touchpoints
- Coordinate with dev/design teams for timely improvements
5. Customer Acquisition + Retention Management
- Build strategies for new customer acquisition
- Create retention flows (WhatsApp, email, SMS) for repeat purchases
- Improve LTV (lifetime value) & returning customer metrics
- Understand the psychology of luxury buyers
6. Data-Driven Decision Making
- Track and report all key metrics weekly & monthly (revenue, sessions, repeat rate, CAC, ROAS, CVR, marketing spends, etc.)
- Use insights to drive actions not guesses
- Build dashboards and review systems
7. Brand Positioning & Creative Direction
Work closely with the founder and creative strategist to ensure:
- Every campaign is aligned with the brand's luxury identity
- Storytelling feels timeless, premium, and emotionally compelling
- The brand maintains aesthetic consistency across channels
You're responsible for both performance and perception.

In the first 612 months, you are expected to:
- Improve website conversion rate
- Bring down CAC sustainably
- Increase LTV & repeat purchase rate
- Build a predictable, scalable revenue engine
- Strengthen brand recall and demand
- Develop a high-performing marketing team that operates smoothly

- 35+ years in growth/marketing for premium or luxury D2C brands
- Proven experience leading revenue growth (not just campaigns)
- Strong understanding of Meta & Google Ads
- Experience managing & mentoring creative + performance teams
- Strong analytical thinking; comfort with numbers & dashboards
- Deep understanding of customer behaviour in high-ticket categories
