Cypress, JavaScript, API, SQL, JIRA, Security testing Professional

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Professional with professional experience in ensuring the quality of web/mobile applications utilizing modern development tools, frameworks, and best practices. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and excellent proficiency in automation testing with solid knowledge of tools like Cypress. You will have the ability to perform automated API/security testing and possess sound knowledge of database and query languages (SQL). Familiarity with JIRA for test case management and defect tracking, basic knowledge of cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, Docker), and understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology are also essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation Testing: Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive automation test suites for web and mobile applications using Cypress.
• Scripting Proficiency: Apply strong working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for writing robust and maintainable automation scripts.
• API & Security Testing: Design and implement automated API testing to validate backend services and perform automated security testing to identify vulnerabilities.
• Database Validation: Utilize sound knowledge of database and query languages (SQL) to perform data validation, integrity checks, and test data management.
• Defect & Test Management: Leverage JIRA for efficient test case management, execution, defect logging, and monitoring.
• Cloud & DevOps Awareness: Apply basic knowledge of cloud infrastructures like AWS, Azure, Docker, and understanding of CI/CD tools and methodologies like Jenkins.
• Agile Collaboration: Work effectively within an Agile/Scrum methodology environment, actively participating in sprints and ceremonies.
• Problem Solving: Apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose complex issues and contribute to their resolution.

Required Skills and Experience
