Cypress Automation

Job Summary

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Cypress-based automation along with API and functional testing. The role involves building scalable automation frameworks, improving test coverage, and ensuring high-quality product releases in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Cypress

• Perform API testing using Postman / REST Assured

• Execute functional, regression, and integration testing

• Build and maintain automation frameworks (Cypress + Mocha/Chai or similar)

• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub Actions)

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams in Agile sprints

• Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA

• Ensure test coverage, reporting, and quality metrics

Required Skills

• 4–8 years of experience in QA / Automation Testing

• Strong hands-on experience in Cypress (must-have)

• Experience with Selenium WebDriver (Java preferred)

• API testing experience (Postman / REST APIs)

• Programming knowledge: JavaScript / TypeScript / Java

• CI/CD exposure (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Good to Have

• Playwright experience

• BDD framework (Cucumber)

• Performance testing (JMeter)

• Cloud/DevOps exposure (AWS, Docker)

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
