The opportunity:

The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with 3,500+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, documentation, and commissioning. Main Accountabilities: As a Tendering Specialist, for Cybersecurity, Protection & Substation Automation systems, you will have many interfaces and interesting work tasks, and you will get great opportunities for learning and development working on potential future projects across the globe. How you'll make an impact:

  • Analyze customer needs and Prepare Bill of Materials, deviation list and detailed product configurations.

  • Deliver accurate cost estimations as per tender scope of work.

  • In coordination with the team manager, elaborate bid prices and offering strategy.

  • Participate in the Risk Review process as needed in accordance with Company policy.

  • Verify the commercial and legal interests of the offer with Front end Sales and Commercial & legal advisor.

  • Monitor progress of tender deliverables and perform continuous follow-up on tender scope and time.

  • Proactive and result-driven professional with the ability to work with cross-functional and cross-border teams as well as to cope with a flexible-load environment.

  • Promote process feedback to the organization.

  • Promote a positive customer experience by submitting quality deliverables on time

  • Responsible for Cybersecurity requirements from Tender till Project Handover. Coordinate with Cyber Security Lead or Officer to fulfill Hitachi Energy requirements and Customer requirements.

  • Assess, identify deviation and Risks in Customer requirement and required standard & regulatory requirement during Tender.

  • Acts a liaison with the Customer about Hitachi Energy's automation solution's adherence to customer requirements and required standard & regulation

  • Review Project Cybersecurity deliverables are implemented and delivered as agreed. For platforms certified with IEC 62443-3-3, make sure that the delivery project is within the requirements of the standard to the extent possible.

  • Support to enhance and maintain the CS documentation for project deliverables.

  • Ensure Vulnerability Management in delivery projects.

  • Support in Business in achieving IEC 62443 2-4 Certification and in IEC 62443 3-3 certification.

  • Support in maintaining and improving the Cybersecurity solution.

  • Contribute to Cybersecurity Assurance process definition and improvement in Customer Delivery Projects.

  • Ensure Test area Asset security Management and Security tools.

  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5-10 yrs. of experience in Electrical & Electronics.

  • Advanced Knowledge OT Networking and Network security.

  • Experienced working in OT environment components and OT security.

  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity Regulation, Standards and Framework - (IEC62443, NERC-CIP, BDEW, NIST Publication).

  • Awareness on current Cybersecurity controls and solutions - Endpoint Security, AAA, Security logging, Hardening benchmarks.

  • Knowledge of Security tools (NESSUS, CIS CAT, Nmap).

  • Understanding on Computer networks and network security - Firewall, IDS.

  • Desirable with ISA 99 / 62443 - Cybersecurity Fundamentals Specialist, GIAC, GICSP, CEH certification.

  • Prior engineering & tendering experience, to handle tenders and manage risk assessments.

  • Very high awareness of quality and standardization.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
