Job Description:
The Test Lead will be responsible for defining and driving the testing strategy for cybersecurity projects, focusing on IoT and network security. This role involves developing detailed test plans, executing complex security assessments, and leading the technical execution of vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills to collaborate with the testing team while possessing deep technical expertise in ethical hacking, red teaming, and network protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Testing team: Work closely with team members to streamline testing workflows, resolve technical blockers, and ensure project milestones are met.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Test Plans, Test Methods, and test design specifications to ensure rigorous security assessment.
- Review and approve test cases and test suites to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct advanced Network Penetration Testing and Web Application Penetration Testing to identify security flaws.
- Execute Red Teaming operations and ethical hacking exercises to simulate real-world attack scenarios.
- Perform binary exploitation and reverse engineering tasks using tools such as Binwalk and Ghidra.
- Utilize industry-standard security tools including Kali Linux, Burp Suite, and Wireshark for deep-dive analysis and packet inspection.
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Participate in the development and enhancement of testing tools and techniques.
Requirements:
- Education: B.Tech / B.E in ECE, Computer Science, Telecommunications (or related field), or MCA, MSc (Computer Science), MSc (IT), or MSc (Cybersecurity).
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity testing or a related technical field.
- Networking Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of OSI Layers, network fundamentals, and wireless protocols.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Kali Linux, Burp Suite, Wireshark, Binwalk, and Ghidra.
Core Skills:
- Proven ability in Ethical Hacking, Binary Exploitation, Network Penetration Testing, and Web Application Penetration Testing.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: Certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacking), eJPT, CCNA (CiscoCertified Network Associate), CCNP (Security), OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Certifications in the area of Telecom/Cyber security Testing are required.
- Experience with hardware communication protocols such as UART, I2C, and JTAG.
- Experience with hardware hacking and reverse engineering.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and threat modelling
