JD : Cybersecurity Intern

Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Intern to join our Security Operations Centre (ZenSOC) in Pune. In this role, you will assist in monitoring, analysing, and responding to security events while gaining hands ‑ on experience with enterprise security tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor security alerts and events through SIEM and other SOC tools.
  • Assist in the initial triage and investigation of potential security incidents.
  • Support threat detection activities by analysing logs, network traffic, and endpoint behaviour
  • Document findings, incident details, and prepare reports for SOC analysts.
  • Participate in daily SOC operations, including threat intelligence reviews and security hygiene tasks.
  • Collaborate with senior analysts to learn incident response workflows and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of network foundation and cybersecurity concepts (firewalling , threats, vulnerabilities, malware etc).
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows/Linux) and networking fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, etc.) is an advantage
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge , Courses or certifications in cybersecurity domains and technologies
  • Pursuing full-time engineering degree in computer science / IT
