Job Title: Cybersecurity Intern
Location: Pune (Work from Office)
Stipend: Up to 10,000 per month
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 PM 2:30 AM
Role Overview
As a
Cybersecurity Intern, you will assist our IT and Security teams in safeguarding Flynaut's digital infrastructure, monitoring for vulnerabilities, and supporting incident response. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world cybersecurity experience while contributing to protecting sensitive data and ensuring compliance with Flynaut's confidentiality and security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring network traffic and system activity to detect potential threats.
- Support vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and patch management.
- Research emerging cybersecurity threats and recommend preventive measures.
- Document incidents, breaches, and mitigation steps in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and comply with Flynaut's security policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support compliance and risk management efforts.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Basic understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and security frameworks.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking fundamentals.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm to learn and apply cybersecurity best practices.
