Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist R&D and SDLC

Location: Bangalore

Overview of the role:

Our team is looking for a Cyber security specialist R&D and SDLC Focus on understanding of SDLC environment, components and process. In that role you will work closely with the Cyber expertu2019s team as well as ISO team to support different standard solutions within the enterprise, as well as business units IS requirements. Youu2019ll will be part of a team supporting security architects team, with security solutions, within our enterprise landscape, driving integration and alignment with our strategic goals mainly around Cloud and infrastructure areas.

Your day-to-day will involve close collaboration with security experts, IT, and engineering teams, embedding security into the very fabric of our operations. You will be part of managing the security posture of our third-party vendors, ensuring that every partnership meets our rigorous standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be part of the Cyber security expert team to support Global IS initiatives and solutions. Keep high security maturity and support risk mitigation strategies.

  • Utilizes specialized knowledge to manage and address a diverse range of security issues and projects within the team, applying in-depth expertise to identify, analyze, and resolve complex security challenges, ensuring effective solutions and enhanced protection for the organization.

  • Works under limited supervision and broad guidelines, using independent judgment to make decisions on significant compliance matters and navigate complex situations effectively.

  • Tracks service levels related to information security, providing detailed analyses and reports on security service performance, incidents, and issues to ensure optimal security operations and compliance with established standards.

  • Assists in the evaluation of both new and existing solutions by participating in security reviews, ensuring that they meet established security standards and identifying potential vulnerabilities that need to be addressed.

  • Develop effective relationships with internal teams and external partners to collaboratively resolve security-related issues, refine procedures, and enhance security outcomes in alignment with organizational goals.

  • Act as an active high-performing team member, promoting continuous learning, ownership, and leadership across the cybersecurity organization.

  • Demonstrate exceptional communication, influence, and decision-making skills, especially in high-stakes or ambiguous environments.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Education & Experience

  • Bacheloru2019s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Systems, Software Engineering).

  • 7+ years of industry experience in IT or Cybersecurity roles.

  • 5+ years of experience in IT or security architecture, particularly in cloud environments.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC platforms, processes, and supporting infrastructure.

  • Experience with CI/CD integration and DevSecOps security tooling (SAST, SCA, DAST, IaC, container security).

  • Experience supporting security reviews, solution evaluations, or architecture assessments.

  • Prior experience working in large multinational environments.

  • Understanding privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR) and cybersecurity compliance requirements.

  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST2, OWASP Top 10, and cloud security best practices.

  • Experience working with or evaluating outsourced third party security providers.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Fluent in English and willing to travel.

  • MBA or advanced technical degree is preferred

  • Understanding of AI/ML integration in SDLC and associated security implications is preferred

  • AI affinity and innovation mindset u2013 demonstrated interest and experience in leveraging AIu2011driven solutions, analytics, and automation to improve security effectiveness and decisionu2011making.

  • Experience in regulated industries is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture is preferred

Preferred Certifications

  • CISSP, CISM, CCSP

  • Azure/AWS/GCP cloud security certifications

  • CSSLP, GWEB, GCSA

  • Responsible AI or AI security certifications (Microsoft, AWS, Google).

  • NVIDIA AI Track credentials.

  • MITRE ATLAS training.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companyu2019s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companyu2019s main facilities, generally at the customersu2019 or suppliersu2019 locations.
