Cyber Security Specialist

Position Summary

The Cyber Security Manager ensures that the risk to the organization's information posed by a variety of cyber threats is minimized. Candidate in this role will function as subject matter expertise with-in the discipline of Vulnerability assessment, Policy Compliance, Security Configuration. Knowledge of Cybersecurity framework, IT security tools, concept and architecture with added responsibility for conducting the Technology architecture review from Cyber Security risk standpoint. Role will require building and maintaining working relationships with multiple business units, information technology teams, and engaging with various levels of senior management. Candidates in this role will also be expected to possess the technical aptitude necessary to understand the new technology, IT security tools, new kind of vulnerabilities and current threat landscape.

Roles and responsibilities.

The VA Manager/ Deputy-Manager is expected to perform the following functions.

• Hands-on experience in vulnerability management and security configuration management.
• Experience in management, reporting & governance w.r.t vulnerability/configuration management.
• Contribute in maturing the overall Vulnerability Management/ Security Configuration Management program from people, process and technology stand point and support other functions like IT, PMO and others for remediation, governance, risk and compliance.
• Analyse and report updates to management team on the Vulnerability/ Configuration assessments, remediation updates and publish dashboards to the senior management capturing the metrics.
• Continuously assess and review the technical architecture of existing and new requirements for hardening parameters of network/ security/ database/ server devices and provide the input to minimize the risks.
• Team Management, monitor & review daily tasks, support development and trainings for self & the team members.
• Continuously evaluate and assess current and future security needs of the organization from attacker's perspective and report loopholes to the senior leadership/management.

Experience: 9 Years-15 Years.
