Cyber Security Specialist-AVP

Job Description :

• Perform security risk assessments to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and recommended controls.
• Conduct threat modeling to identify potential attack vectors and propose countermeasures.
• Evaluate and approve security controls before systems go live in production.
• Assess the security posture of third-party vendors and externally hosted systems.
• Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness and incident response training programs.
• Monitor and report the organization's cyber risk profile across APAC.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert on cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Conduct ongoing research on emerging cyber threats and share relevant knowledge.
• Collaborate with global cybersecurity teams to support regional and global initiatives.
• Mentor and guide junior team members to build internal cybersecurity capability.

• Proactive professional with strong understanding of IT Risk, Compliance, and Security Management frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of Application Development, Infrastructure, and Enterprise Technology stacks, including system architecture and design.
• Experienced in conducting security risk assessments for web, mobile, enterprise applications, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Proficient in using risk assessment tools, technologies, and methodologies.
• In-depth understanding of Threat Modeling principles, frameworks, and techniques.
• Strong ability to manage and collaborate with stakeholders across regional and branch offices.
• Continuously updated on latest security standards, authentication methods, cryptography protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, capable of influencing senior leaders and technical teams.
• Strong awareness of industry trends, emerging threats, and modern security technologies and products.
• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Computing or related field CISSP certification preferred 6+ years experience in Threat Modeling, Cyber Risk, and Application Security reviews.
