Job Description

Role Overview

KTRSecurify Consulting Services is hiring an experienced Cyber Security Pre-Sales Freelancer to own technical pre-sales activities and drive revenue by generating, qualifying, and closing opportunities. This role combines deep technical knowledge of cybersecurity services with proactive outbound business development and client-facing selling. You will report to the Founder & CEO and work remotely with flexible hours, delivering measurable pipeline and closed business for the company.

Key Responsibilities

- Pre-sales technical enablement: Create and deliver technical demos, solution walkthroughs, threat assessments, and tailored proposal materials that translate client needs into KTRSecurify service offerings.

- Lead generation: Proactively source and generate high-quality leads via targeted outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls), events, and partner/co-market initiatives.

- Lead qualification: Qualify inbound and outbound leads using BANT or an equivalent framework; maintain CRM records and ensure follow-up cadence.

- Solution design & scoping: Run discovery calls, map client requirements to services (VA/PT, ISO 27001, red teaming, managed detection), and prepare scoped Statements of Work and price estimates.

- Proposal & RFP response: Draft and submit technical responses, pricing, and value propositions for RFPs and RFIs.

- Commercial handoff & closure: Own the opportunity through contract negotiation to handoff to delivery or close deals directly where appropriate.

- Sales-enablement content: Produce collateral case studies, technical whitepapers, slide decks, and competitive positioning notes for use by sales and marketing.

- Pipeline reporting: Deliver weekly pipeline updates, conversion metrics, and forecasts; recommend improvements to the sales process.

- Relationship building: Cultivate and expand relationships with key decision makers (CISO, IT Head, Security Architects) to generate repeat business and referrals.

Required Qualifications

- Experience: 5+ years in cybersecurity pre-sales, solutions engineering, or security consulting with demonstrable success in lead generation and deal closures.

- Technical skills: Hands-on familiarity with vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, red teaming, cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP), SIEM/MDR, and ISO 27001 fundamentals.

- Commercial skills: Proven ability to generate pipeline, qualify leads, scope services, and close mid-market to enterprise deals.

- Communication: Strong written and verbal presentation skills; comfortable delivering technical demos and executive briefings.

- Tools: Experience using a CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), proposal tools, and collaboration platforms.

- Location & work model: Remote-first with ability to travel occasionally for client meetings and events in India and international markets.

- Eligibility: Freelancer status; able to issue invoices and work under a service agreement with KTRSecurify.

Desired Attributes

- Consultative seller mindset with empathy for buyer challenges.

- Self-starter who thrives in a founder-led, agile environment.

- Strong network within cybersecurity buyer communities.

- High attention to detail in proposals and contract terms.

- Creative communicator who can convert technical value into business outcomes.

Deliverables, Compensation & Term

- Deliverables: Weekly pipeline report; minimum qualified leads target (mutually agreed at onboarding); number of proposals submitted per month; revenue or MRR targets tied to commissions.

- Compensation: Performance-based commission on closed business; exact terms to be negotiated based on experience and targets.

- Engagement term: 6 months initial contract with possibility of extension or transition to a longer engagement based on performance.

How to Apply

- To apply: Send a one-page cover note summarizing your relevant pre-sales wins, a concise list of target industries and contacts you can engage, sample demo/proposal materials (one file), and your expected retainer and commission structure to [Confidential Information].

- Include: Short case study (one paragraph) of a closed cybersecurity engagement you led from lead to close and the net revenue or contract value.

- Response timeline: We will review submissions and contact shortlisted candidates for a technical assessment, technical interview and a commercial interview.
