Acrotinel is looking for a proactive Cyber Security Intern who is passionate about protecting systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and ensuring data security. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world security practices, threat analysis, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in monitoring systems and networks for security threats

Identify vulnerabilities and support in risk assessment activities

Perform basic security audits and penetration testing tasks

Analyze logs and detect suspicious activities or anomalies

Support implementation of security policies and best practices

Work with teams to ensure secure application and system design

Conduct research on latest cybersecurity threats and trends

Document security findings, reports, and incident responses

Assist in improving overall security posture of systems

Required Skills

Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and principles

Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls)

Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, Nmap, or Burp Suite

Basic understanding of ethical hacking and penetration testing

Awareness of common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)

Understanding of operating systems (Linux/Windows)

Problem-solving and analytical thinking

Strong attention to detail

Willingness to learn and adapt quickly

Eligibility Criteria

Students or recent graduates from Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science, or related fields

Freshers with strong interest in cybersecurity are encouraged to apply

Candidates with certifications like CEH, Security+, or similar are a plus

Hands-on projects, labs, or CTF participation is an advantage

Must be available for a full-time remote internship
