Inficore Soft is looking for a Cyber Security Intern who is interested in protecting systems, networks, and applications from potential threats. This role offers hands-on exposure to security practices, vulnerability assessment, and real-world cybersecurity workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor systems and networks for potential security threats

Assist in performing vulnerability assessments and basic security audits

Identify and report security risks in applications and systems

Work with security tools to detect and prevent threats

Analyze logs and system activities for unusual behavior

Support in implementing security policies and best practices

Research emerging cybersecurity threats and mitigation techniques

Document vulnerabilities, findings, and recommended solutions

Required Skills

Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and principles

Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)

Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux or Windows

Awareness of common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10 is a plus)

Basic understanding of authentication, encryption, and firewalls

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and security-focused mindset

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Eligibility Criteria

Students or recent graduates from Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or related fields

Freshers with basic cybersecurity knowledge are encouraged to apply

Candidates with certifications or personal security projects will have an advantage

Must be available for a full-time remote internship
