About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to lead efforts in securing our products and technologies. You'll work closely with engineering and product teams to identify, assess, and reduce security risks across a wide range of technologies including cloud, IoT, and custom hardware/software solutions. You'll play a key role in embedding security into the product lifecycle, conducting security reviews, and developing tools for automated vulnerability detection.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate security into software and hardware products
- Review technical designs and ensure they align with security best practices
- Perform code reviews, penetration testing, and threat modeling
- Define and enforce secure coding standards and development practices
- Communicate risks, findings, and solutions to stakeholders
- Build tools and frameworks to support automated security testing
- Stay up to date with emerging threats and security trends
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience securing cloud, mobile, embedded, or client/server systems
- 3+ years in software development, product security, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of cloud (AWS, Azure), IoT, and mobile (e.g., Android) security
- Familiarity with technologies like RFID, QR codes, and NFC
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
- Strong understanding of encryption, authentication, and secure communication protocols
- Solid grasp of secure coding practices and vulnerability assessment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
