Job Description

Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an ISO/SAE Automotive Cybersecurity Expert to lead cybersecurity engineering activities across the automotive product lifecycle. This role will support OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in achieving compliance with ISO/SAE and UNECE R155, ensuring secure by design vehicle systems and software.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cybersecurity implementation across concept, development, production, and post-production.
  • Perform Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) at vehicle, system, and component levels.
  • Define cybersecurity concepts, requirements, architecture, and work products.
  • Support secure design of ECUs, software, networks, OTA, and connected vehicle systems.
  • Drive vulnerability analysis, risk treatment, and cybersecurity verification & validation.
  • Act as the cybersecurity interface with OEMs, suppliers, and internal engineering teams.
  • Support CSMS activities, audits, assessments, and regulatory readiness (UNECE R155/R156).
  • Mentor teams and support presales, proposals, and customer workshops.

Essential Skills

  • Expertise in automotive cybersecurity, TARA, cybersecurity goals, claims, and risk treatment.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Automotive).
  • Hands-on experience with ISO/SAE.
  • Knowledge of ISO (functional safety), ASPICE (preferred).
  • Understanding of automotive E/E architectures, embedded software, and in-vehicle networks.
  • Familiarity with secure SDLC and vulnerability management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • ISO/SAE Automotive Cybersecurity Certification (TÜV / SGS / equivalent) preferred.

Work Environment

The position involves collaborating with various teams, including OEMs and suppliers, to ensure cybersecurity compliance and secure vehicle systems. The work environment requires a proactive approach to threat analysis and risk assessment, with a focus on secure design and regulatory readiness.
