Software Engr II:
The Next Generation Avionics (NGA) Engineering organization is seeking a Band 3 technical engineer (Software) to join our Product Development Group located in India. This position requires experience in the Software Engineering discipline and understanding of Anthem product line.
In this role, the primary responsibility will be to execute in the design and development of software/system requirements for ANTHEM. Your scope of work will involve driving and implementing Anthem product goals and objectives in the NGA CoE. By collaborating with customers and broader engineering teams, you will influence software design directions and methodology developments.

The Responsibilities, Skills And Duties For This Role Include
- Technical knowledge in embedded requirements, design, architecture, development, testing and Lean/Agile program execution.
- Domain knowledge of Data link functionality
- Working knowledge on HW benches.
- Provide investigation support for development issues.
- Be seen as a problem solver.
- Lead or assist in FCI process, SDR, PDR and verification & validation activities.
- Leverage advanced tools and simulation techniques to deliver high impact business results
- Able to work with a diverse group of team members who could be geographically distributed
- Drives software innovation, creating growth ideas and products - growth ideation and connect with the Advanced Technology and GBE leadership for Technology Road map and Product Roadmap insertion
- Demonstrate thought leadership in model design, identifying automation opportunities to improve team efficiency.
- Provide investigation support for development issues. Handles issues/roadblocks and participates in design reviews and technical decision making.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- B.E / B. Tech
- Must have Strong Software Engineering expertise and Aero Domain/Product knowledge
- Strong knowledge in Software design and architecture, integration and test.
- Must have experience in Datalink.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Bitbucket; CI/CD using Bamboo/Octopus.
- Experience in SW development and qualification with DO-178C
- Must have excellent communication, collaboration and networking skills
We Value
Excellent understanding of Datalink/Avionics domain working experience.
Experience with functional decomposition desired.
Experience with Agile development processes.
SAMIOC/PCT understanding, ability to work across all development and test environments like ANTHEM lab, desktop etc.
Knowledge of AGILE tools. IBM Rational DOORS NG Requirements Management tool, Atlassian JIRA Change management tool, V&V tools.
Positive, can-do attitude
Ability to work across team boundaries.
Background in Software design
Experience On Large, Complicated Programs Is Preferred.
Familiarity with Requirements Management Tools desired.
Excellent Communication skills.
