Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cyber Security Consultant with 6+ years of expertise in protecting IT infrastructure, applications, and data. The candidate will provide strategic guidance, lead security assessments, implement advanced security solutions, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks while mentoring junior consultants.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead comprehensive security assessments of client systems, networks, and applications to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks.
- Recommend, design, and implement advanced security solutions tailored to client needs, including endpoint protection, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and cloud security controls.
- Develop, review, and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, providing actionable remediation plans.
- Provide strategic consulting on IT security architecture, cloud deployments, and secure application development.
- Lead security awareness programs and training sessions for client teams and internal staff to strengthen organizational security culture.
- Oversee incident response planning, investigation, and mitigation of security breaches or cyber attacks.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, and other applicable frameworks.
- Mentor and guide junior cybersecurity consultants, performing code reviews, security reviews, and advising on best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, security technologies, and industry trends, advising clients on proactive risk management strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 6+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity consulting, risk assessment, or IT security.
- Advanced industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CEH, or equivalent.
- Proven experience with cloud security, network security, application security, and compliance management.
