Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure multi-cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP. This role focuses on embedding security principles into cloud-native solutions, performing architecture risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud security services, governance frameworks, and secure design principles for distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain cloud security architecture principles and patterns for AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Design secure landing zones, IAM strategies, network segmentation, and encryption standards.
- Perform architecture risk assessments using CSA CCM, STRIDE, and other methodologies.
- Develop and enforce multi-cloud security standards aligned with CIS Benchmarks, NIST CSF, and ISO 27017.
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps workflows.
- Conduct security architecture reviews for cloud-native applications and services.
- Advise engineering and leadership teams on cloud security best practices and risk mitigation.
- Mentor teams on secure cloud design, identity management, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in security architecture with at least 4+ years focused on cloud security.
- Expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP security services (IAM, KMS, Azure AD, GCP IAM).
- Hands-on experience with architecture risk assessment and threat modeling for cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of cryptography, authentication, authorization, and secure communication protocols.
- Proficiency in container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native technologies.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: AWS Certified Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, Google Cloud Security Engineer, CISSP, CCSK.
- Experience with cloud governance frameworks, privacy-by-design principles, and regulated environments.
- Knowledge of AI security principles and data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA).
