Job Title: VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing) Analyst Fresher

Location: Delhi (On-site)

Experience: 01 year

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our cybersecurity team as a VAPT Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresher with a strong interest in ethical hacking and information security to gain hands-on experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing under expert mentorship.

You'll work closely with senior security engineers to identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities across applications, networks, and systems helping strengthen client security postures in real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in performing vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on web applications, networks, and infrastructure.
  • Identify, validate, and document security vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and potential exploits.
  • Support the preparation of comprehensive assessment reports, including impact analysis and remediation recommendations.
  • Participate in threat research to stay updated on emerging exploits, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity trends.
  • Collaborate with senior security professionals in testing engagements and remediation verification.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification is mandatory.
  • Fundamental understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and web application architecture.
  • Familiarity with common security tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Wireshark, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

  • Awareness of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and common web application attack vectors.
  • Understanding of secure coding principles and defensive security concepts.
  • Hands-on experience through internships, cybersecurity projects, or capture-the-flag (CTF) challenges.
  • Exposure to scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation or exploit development.
