Cyber Security Analyst

About the Role

We're looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen our security posture and safeguard systems, data, and networks. You'll work closely with the IT and development teams to identify vulnerabilities, deploy defenses, and respond to incidents efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and analyse network traffic for unusual activities or security breaches.

Implement, configure, and manage security tools firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and SIEM solutions.

Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAPT).

Collaborate with DevOps/Cloud teams to ensure secure infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Respond to and document security incidents; assist in forensic analysis and remediation.

Develop and enforce security best practices, policies, and procedures.

Stay updated on latest cybersecurity threats, exploits, and mitigation strategies.

Required Skills & Experience

13 years of hands-on experience in network or application security.

Solid understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, endpoint protection, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL).

Experience with at least one SIEM platform (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Wazuh, ELK).

Familiarity with vulnerability scanners (Nessus, OpenVAS, Burp Suite, Nmap).

Basic scripting or automation in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and documentation abilities.
