We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity practices and technologies, responsible for safeguarding our organization's information systems and data against potential threats.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events from various sources.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems.
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to protect sensitive information.
- Respond to security incidents and breaches, conducting investigations and root cause analysis.
- Maintain and update security tools and technologies to enhance overall security posture.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Provide training and awareness programs for employees regarding security best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8-12 years of experience in Cyber Security or related fields.
- Strong understanding of network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Experience with security assessment tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or similar.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) for automation of security tasks.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools and incident response strategies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
