Role Overview

We are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst who can monitor, analyze, and strengthen the security posture of our systems, networks, and applications. The role focuses on threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, and ensuring compliance with security best practices while collaborating closely with engineering and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor systems, networks, and applications for security threats and suspicious activity
• Analyze security alerts, logs, and events to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts
• Respond to security incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of information security principles and cyber security frameworks
• Experience with security monitoring tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, etc.)
• Knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
• Basic scripting or automation skills (Python, Bash, or similar)

Good to Have

• Experience with cloud security (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Knowledge of compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
• Understanding of DevSecOps and secure SDLC practices
