Position Summary
Level: Manager
Lead a cross-functional engineering team building and operating Gen/AI genetic AI- enabled products across AWS and Azure. You will open end-to-end delivery (UI, APIs, data, AI orchestration, and cloud operation), drive engineering excellence (quality, security, reliability), and remain hands-on in architecture and critical-path implementation.
Work you'll do:
Delivery & Engineering Execution
- Own delivery from discovery to production: UX services data AI orchestration deployment/operations.
- Translate business requirements into architecture, milestones, sprint plans, and delivery governance (DoR/DoD, quality gates).
- Make pragmatic design decisions; evaluate trade-offs with stakeholders and SMEs; unblock execution.
- Drive engineering standards: code reviews, testing strategy, API design, documentation, reuse, and maintainabilityOwn production readiness: observability, runbooks, incident response, and continuous improvement via postmortems.
GenAI / Agentic AI (Hands-on + Leadership)
- Architect and implement LLM-enabled patterns such as RAG, tool/function calling, agent workflows, and orchestration.
- Build evaluation and monitoring: offline test suites, regression checks, online quality signals, and controlled rollout (canary/A/B where applicable).
- Implement safety and reliability controls: data/PII handling, prompt injection mitigation, authorization boundaries, content filtering (as needed), timeouts/retries/circuit breakers, and audit logging.
- Integrate securely with enterprise systems (APIs, data stores, search/vector/graph stores) with clear tenancy and access controls.
Cloud, Platform, and DevSecOps (AWS/Azure)
- Lead cloud-native delivery on AWS/Azure using containers and CI/CD; guide IaC and environment strategy.
- Optimize scalability, cost, and performance for inference-heavy workloads (caching, batching, rate limiting, queueing where relevant).
- Champion DevSecOps: secure SDLC, dependency/SBOM hygiene, secrets management, least-privilege IAM, vulnerability management.
People Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Manage/mentor engineers across onsite/offshore teams; set goals, provide feedback, and grow capabilities.
- Drive team rituals (Agile ceremonies), execution transparency, and stakeholder communication.
- Partner with product, design, security, and data teams to align roadmap, scope, and delivery commitments.
The Team:
Cyber Operate teams manage clients critical cyber assets either as a fully managed service or in partnership with clients. They deliver skilled talent, cutting-edge technologies, and robust processes to operate client cyber capabilities. This includes managing the identity lifecycle, security operations, threat intelligence, application security, business transformation, and ensuring continuous compliance.
Qualifications:
Must have skills/ Project experience/ Certifications:
- 10+ years in software engineering with progressive ownership; experience leading teams (formal or strong matrix leadership).
- Strong full-stack fundamentals: system design, OOP/design patterns, API design, performance, and production troubleshooting.
- Frontend experience with modern frameworks (e.g., React / Angular / Next.js) and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Backend strength in one primary stack (e.g., Node.js, Python, or Java/Spring) building secure REST APIs (and/or GraphQL).
- Practical experience with SQL and at least one additional data store (NoSQL/cache/search).
- CI/CD proficiency (e.g., Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) and containerization (Docker); production readiness mindset.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management in Agile delivery.
Good to have skills/ Project experience/ Certifications:
- Hands-on GenAI delivery: Azure OpenAI/Bedrock, RAG, vector search, agent frameworks, evaluation/monitoring.
- Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), GitOps, Terraform/Bicep/CloudFormation.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry and modern observability tooling.
- Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) and experience building multi-tenant, enterprise-grade platforms.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in (any of) Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or related fields.
