SOPAN Machinery and Tools Pvt. Ltd., established in 2024 is a new vertical from SOPAN Group in the field of Hardware Sales for Tsugami CNC Machines and Walter Cutting Tools to support the Manufacturing Industries.

SOPAN Group was founded in 2010 through SOPAN Institute of Engineering & Design - Authorized Training and Certification Centre for Autodesk Software Solution, SolidWorks Software Solution and Hexagon Production Software Solution with an aim to improve the level CAD CAM CAE education in our society. SOPAN Group has started SOPAN Infotech Pvt. Ltd. in 2012 as an Authorized Value-Added Reseller for SolidWorks CAD Solution and Hexagon CAM Solution. The success of the SOPAN Group can be encapsulated in three words - Vision, Dedication & Good Future. As with most beginnings, it started with a vision to Deliver more than promised. SOPAN has started with single office in Surat and now we have total 6 offices of SIED (2 in Surat, 2 in Ahmedabad, 1 in Rajkot and 1 in Navsari), 3 offices of SIPL (1 in Surat, 1 in Ahmedabad and 1 in Rajkot) and 2 offices of SMTPL (1 in Surat and 1 in Ahmedabad).

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Cutting Tool Sales and Application Engineer to join our team. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to promote and sell our cutting tools and provide application support to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, machining, and a proven track record in technical sales.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.

Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders.

Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and execution.

Provide expert advice on cutting tool applications, selection, and optimization.

Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations and trials for customers.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and technological advancements.

Offer feedback to the product development team based on customer interactions.

Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend improvements for machining processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Prior 3+ Years of Experience in Cutting Tool Sales & Application

Strong knowledge of machining processes and CNC operations.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.

Proficiency in CAD/CAM software is an Advantage.
