Customs Trade & Compliance SME (IT)

We are currently looking for a Customs Trade & Compliance Subject Matter Expert (IT) to support the evolution of global trade compliance systems within a complex international environment.

In this role, you will operate at the intersection of IT, customs processes, and global trade compliance, helping ensure that systems and digital platforms support compliant, efficient, and scalable international trade operations.

Duration - 12 Months + Extensions

Key Responsibilities

Support the rollout and implementation of global customs management tools

Assist in designing end-to-end solutions together with Service Architects

Develop and implement IT customs compliance strategies

Guide development teams on application design, configuration, and compliance requirements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across IT, supply chain, and compliance

Maintain strong understanding of global trade processes and regulatory developments

Key Requirements

Strong understanding of customs and trade compliance processes

Knowledge of import/export declarations, tariff classification, HS codes, and free trade agreements

Experience working with customs or global trade IT systems

Experience with SAP ECC / SAP S/4HANA (Material Management)

Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex cross-functional problems
