Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Customs Clearance Senior Executive with strong expertise in customs laws, SEZ/FTWZ procedures, and import/export documentation. The ideal candidate should hold a valid G-Card and possess hands-on experience in handling end-to-end customs clearance operations. Male candidates are preferred for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all customs-related activities for imports, exports, and re-exports.
- Prepare and verify checklists, Bills of Entry, Shipping Bills, and other documentation.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, SEZ rules, and FTWZ guidelines.
- Coordinate with customs authorities for clearances and approvals.
- Oversee movement of goods within FTWZ and ensure timely documentation.
- Liaise with internal teams (logistics, warehousing, operations) for smooth coordination.
- Maintain accurate documentation, BOEs, and transaction records as per regulatory standards.
- Provide expert guidance on customs procedures to internal stakeholders.
- Handle customs-related issues, queries, and disputes efficiently.
- Follow up on incoming shipments and manage day-to-day clearance activities.
- Build and maintain good rapport with customs officials at FTWZ, seaports, and airports.
- Guide and support the internal clearance team, including H-Card holders.
- Ensure timely clearance of all shipments at the branch.
Key Skills Required:
- In-depth knowledge of customs laws, SEZ/FTWZ clearance procedures.
- Strong understanding of import/export documentation and tariff regulations.
- Hands-on experience with Air & Sea cargo clearance processes.
- Proficiency in preparing customs documentation (BOE, shipping bill, checklist, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Telugu.
- Good coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in relevant customs documentation tools and software.
Requirements:
- Valid G-Card (Mandatory).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in customs operations, preferably in FTWZ/SEZ environments.
- Male Candidates preferred
- Strong operational knowledge of customs regulations and clearance workflows.
