What's the role

As a Customer Support Associate at Jar, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences during overnight hours. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a strong sense of empathy, patience, and active listening to effectively resolve user queries. This role requires adaptability in handling a wide range of customer concerns across multiple channels while working independently in a remote setup. A strong understanding of digital products and a customer-first mindset are key to ensuring a seamless user experience.

Work Mode: Work From Home

Shift Timings: 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM (Night Shift)

What will be your responsibilities

Handling customer queries and providing support via chat, voice, and email during night hours.

Conducting surveys with customers to understand product usage and overall experience, and collecting prompt and accurate feedback.

Managing time effectively and prioritising tasks to meet productivity and department standards in a remote environment.

Demonstrating excellent comprehension skills to clearly understand and appropriately address customer issues.

Composing grammatically correct, concise, and accurate written responses.

Building strong product knowledge and taking ownership of customer issues, including resolving complex cases and escalating when necessary.

Escalating unresolved user issues to relevant internal teams while maintaining clear documentation and smooth collaboration.

Contributing to a positive and supportive team environment despite working night shifts.

What's required from you

A bachelor's degree in administration or a related field.

1–4 years of experience in customer support or a similar role.

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Hands-on experience with CRM tools such as Zendesk, Freshdesk, Zoho, or similar platforms.

Ability to work on a desktop/laptop, with familiarity in Google Workspace and MS Office.

Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and de-escalation skills, especially during high-pressure situations.

A self-driven, motivated, and task-oriented individual who can quickly learn and work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts.
