As a Customer Success Specialist at Markit India, you are the day-to-day heartbeat of our client relationships. Working directly under the Customer Success & Operations Manager, you keep orders moving, clients informed, and back-office operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role where your attention to detail and proactive communication directly shape the client experience.

Job requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in customer service, operations, or a similar client-facing support role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Hands-on experience with a CRM system (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail — you can juggle multiple open cases without dropping the ball.
  • A proactive mindset: you flag issues early and follow up without being asked.
  • Experience in IT, tech, or B2B is a plus but not required.
  • Based in Mumbai or Bangalore.

Job responsibilities

  • Process and track client orders end-to-end, ensuring timely fulfilment and accurate documentation.
  • Respond to routine client inquiries via email, phone, and live chat in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the handling of warranty claims, return cases, and after-sales service requests.
  • Maintain and update the sales platform and back-office tools with accurate product, pricing, and order data.
  • Assist in preparing client-facing materials, quotes, and reports.
  • Coordinate with wholesalers, vendors, and logistics partners to follow up on shipments and resolve delivery issues.
  • Log and maintain records of client interactions in the CRM system and escalate complex cases to the Manager.
  • Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates to clients to ensure a smooth experience.
  • Support onboarding of new clients by preparing documentation and coordinating internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in compiling operational reports and KPI tracking data as requested.
