Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our sales team. This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of enterprise accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving revenue growth through upselling and account expansion. The Account Manager will act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their business needs and delivering solutions to help them achieve their goals.

Key Deliverables

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within assigned accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at enterprise clients.
  • Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize account potential and increase revenue streams.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their needs, provide performance updates, and identify areas for improvement; reports will be monthly.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation and implementation, ensuring a smooth and successful onboarding process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to deliver exceptional service and support to clients.
  • Address and resolve client issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management or sales, with a proven track record of success in managing enterprise clients.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be located in India and able to work in a hybrid work model.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling [Specific product or service related to the company's offerings].
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Experience in [Specific industry relevant to the company's clients].

Skills

Must-Have Skills

  • Technical: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing client interactions and sales data.
  • Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of sales principles, account management strategies, and the enterprise sales cycle.
  • Behavioral & Interpersonal: Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to build rapport and trust with clients; active listening skills.
  • Process & SOP: Experience with developing and implementing account management plans and strategies; ability to follow established sales processes and procedures.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze sales data and identify trends; ability to develop creative solutions to client challenges.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Advanced Technical: Experience with sales automation tools and techniques.
  • Additional Certifications: Sales certifications (e.g., Miller Heiman, Sandler Training).
  • Cross-Functional Exposure: Experience working with marketing teams on lead generation campaigns.
  • Leadership Traits: Ability to mentor junior account managers or sales representatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization.
