We're a YC-backed AI company building software that automates complex document-heavy workflows for large enterprise customers.
We're looking for a strong engineer who can work directly with customers, understand messy real-world problems, and turn them into reliable technical solutions. This is a high-ownership role for someone who is both technically excellent and comfortable communicating clearly with clients and internal teams.
What you'll do
• Work directly with customers to understand issues, reproduce errors, gather requirements, and explain solutions clearly
• Debug production issues and drive them to resolution
• Translate customer feedback into product and engineering work
• Help us maintain fast response times and high trust with important enterprise clients
• Collaborate closely with senior engineering staff
What we're looking for
• Strong engineering fundamentals and ability to ship production-quality code
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort working with customers and explaining technical topics to non-technical users
• Ability to debug ambiguous problems across product, data, APIs, and infrastructure
• High ownership, reliability, and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment where fast response times are critical
Nice to have
• Experience in AI, document processing, workflow automation, or enterprise SaaS
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, cloud infrastructure, and LLM-based systems
• Prior experience in customer-facing engineering, solutions engineering, support engineering, or technical account work
