The Role
For our manufacturing branch located in Bangalore, we are looking for a Customer Service Executive, who will reports directly to the local Sales Manager, to reinforce the Sales Team.
Key responsibilities
- This position will essentially be supporting the sales team.
- To collaborate with internal and external stakeholders like Sales team, Application team, Finance team, HQ in Italy, customer's purchase, stores, Supply Chain team.
- Management of the assigned customer portfolio: sales order processing and delivery (receipt, verification, insertion and monitoring of progress). Communicate with customers to resolve any pre-shipment issues, update backorder status and confirm order shipment. Customer forecast management. Management of any customer portals.
- Inform clients about unforeseen delays or issues in meeting the timeline.
- Interface with customers.
- Use of ERP computer systems (LN INFOR).
- To collaborate with Finance for completing the new account opening formalities.
- To share and present sales reports/ presentations / Dashboards.
- To support the sales team by regularly updating on customer inventory and ETA etc..
- An ability and interest to work in fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Quick response to customer's needs.
Requirements
- Education: BE/MBA with minimum 3 years experience.
- Maintain and manage accurate data (DS, PO, schedule Vs Dispatch etc.,) of sales
- Process oriented-understands and follows the process, provides input for continuous improvement.
- Basic understanding of forecasting process to improve S&OP accuracy.
- Excellent knowledge of excel and MS suite.
- Knowledge and use of ERP computer systems (LN experience preferred).
- Fluent English, both spoken and written.
- Experience in customer service or back office activities will be preferred.
