Role Overview
We are looking for a highly creative yet analytical CRM & Marketing Automation expert with 2–5 years of hands-on execution experience, preferably in an app-first environment. This role requires a strong understanding of lifecycle marketing and customer journeys, with Clevertap or similar tools for campaign execution and optimization.
You will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing engagement campaigns across In-App, Push Notifications, WhatsApp, SMS, and Email channels to drive user retention, engagement, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. App-First CRM Strategy & Execution
- Strategize and execute retention and growth campaigns across:
- In-App messaging
- Landing pages
- Push Notifications
- WhatsApp
- SMS
- Email
- Drive app engagement through personalized lifecycle journeys.
- Build automated user journeys focused on activation, retention, upsell, and cross-sell.
2. Campaign Management
- Independently manage campaigns using Clevertap (or similar platforms like MoEngage).
- Create user segments based on behavior, events, cohorts, and user attributes.
- Track campaign performance using platform analytics and dashboards.
- Optimize campaigns based on CTR, CVR, retention metrics, revenue contribution, and cohort analysis.
3. Lead Generation & Email Marketing
- Build and execute Email campaigns for lead generation.
- Create Email and WhatsApp lead nurturing journeys.
- Optimize subject lines, creatives, copy, and timing for improved open and conversion rates.
4. Campaign Planning & Growth Initiatives
- Plan and execute targeted campaigns for:
- Product launches
- Festive sales
- Strategic business initiatives
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Services teams to align CRM efforts with revenue and retention goals.
- Identify growth opportunities through user behavior insights and data analysis.
5. Analytics & Performance Optimization
- Track, analyze, and report campaign performance.
- Present recommendations and actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Continuously test and optimize campaigns (A/B testing, timing, content, segmentation).
- Use data to drive performance improvements and corrective actions.
6. Creative & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Bring creative ideas to enhance campaign engagement.
- Work closely with the Graphic team to improve campaign creatives.
- Develop user personas and targeted messaging strategies.
- Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of CRM experience in an app-first or digital product company.
- Hands-on experience with Clevertap or similar CRM platforms (MoEngage, WebEngage, etc.).
- Strong experience in managing campaigns across:
- Push Notifications
- In-App Messaging
- WhatsApp
- SMS
- Email
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and derive insights.
- Understanding of customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and retention strategies.
- Highly creative with strong content understanding and messaging skills.
- Experience identifying target audiences and creating persona-driven campaigns.
- Knowledge of running SQL queries is a plus (not mandatory).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
