Role Overview
CVant is looking for a proactive CRM & Business Support professional who will act as the first relationship touchpoint for prospective clients. This role combines client interaction, pre-sales coordination, and CRM ownership, ensuring leads are nurtured, qualified, and routed effectively before moving into the sales pipeline.
The CRM Specialist will oversee day-to-day customer relationship management processes, manage and optimize CRM systems, handle client interactions, and collaborate with sales teams to build strong, enduring customer relationships. The role also includes analyzing consumer data to improve customer engagement and contributing to efficient business workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Act as the first point of contact for incoming leads and inquiries.
- Conduct interest checks and requirement discovery for pre-sales inquiries.
- Build rapport with prospective clients through calls, messages, and follow-ups.
- Guide clients on service options, self-booking journeys, or route them to the sales team for customization.
Pre-Sales & Sales Enablement
- Qualify leads based on interest, intent, and readiness to buy.
- Coordinate with the sales team for customized proposals and conversions.
- Ensure smooth handover from CRM to sales with complete and accurate context.
CRM, Data & Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate CRM records including lead details, communication history, and status updates.
- Build and track the sales pipeline post-client interaction and qualification.
- Monitor follow-ups, conversion stages, and drop-offs.
- Share pipeline updates and insights with BD and sales leadership.
Process & Experience Improvement
- Ensure consistent and high-quality client experience during pre-sales engagement.
- Identify patterns in client inquiries and feedback to improve BD messaging and flows.
- Support improvements in self-booking journeys and CRM workflows.
Required Skills & Experience
- 37 years of experience in CRM, pre-sales, business development support, or client engagement roles.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in Analytical Skills for assessing customer data and enhancing engagement strategies
- Experience handling inbound inquiries and lead qualification.
- Advanced Excel and MS Office Skills
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools (Zoho / Salesforce / HubSpot or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with data tracking and reporting.
- Ability to balance client interaction with process discipline.
