About The Role
We are looking for someone who will act as the
voice of the market within the company. This role involves speaking regularly with retailers, distributors, and field sales teams to gather insights, solve operational issues, and support GT execution.
The person will also coordinate closely with our field teams to ensure
assets, displays, and merchandising initiatives are executed properly in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Insights & Relationship Calls Conduct daily calls with retailers, distributors, Sales Officers, and ASMs to gather real-time market feedback on stock availability, retailer sentiment, competitor activity, pricing/schemes, and in-store visibility. Maintain a structured tracker and share weekly insights.
- Field Operations Support Coordinate with Sales Officers and ASMs to track execution of sales initiatives and assist in resolving operational issues related to retailer onboarding, distributor coordination, schemes, and billing/claims.
- Asset & Merchandising Coordination Track deployment of in-store merchandising assets (displays, danglers, shelf strips, etc.), ensure delivery to field teams, and verify proper installation in priority outlets through regular follow-ups.
- Retailer Relationship Management Build relationships with retailers across key markets, address product or display-related queries, collect feedback, and identify high-potential outlets for field team follow-up.
- Data Tracking & Reporting Maintain dashboards on market feedback, field execution, asset deployment, and key issues, and share regular market intelligence reports with the sales team.
Key Skills
- 13 years experience in FMCG sales coordination / customer relations / GT operations
- Strong communication skills (comfortable speaking with retailers daily)
- Comfortable working with large datasets, trackers, and reporting
- Ability to extract insights from unstructured conversations
- High ownership and attention to detail
