Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to create scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving discussions, ensuring that the software solutions you create are not only functional but also efficient and user-friendly, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for software development.
- Design, implement, and test software components to ensure they meet quality standards.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must Have Skills: Proficiency in BlueYonder Demand Planning.
- Must Have Skills: SQL
- Integration understanding between BlueYonder Demand Planning & APO
- Experience with software development methodologies, particularly agile practices.
- Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues effectively.
- Familiarity with modern programming languages and frameworks.
