Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves spearheading the design, development, and configuration of tailored applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the solutions meet the specified requirements. The engineer acts as the central liaison, facilitating communication and collaboration across teams to drive the successful delivery of software products. Problem-solving and decision-making are integral parts of the daily routine, ensuring that the applications are robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of software development activities to meet project goals.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards throughout the development process.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce Lightning Web Components.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Life Sciences Industry.
- Strong knowledge of component-based architecture and modern web development frameworks.
- Ability to design and implement reusable and scalable user interface components.
- Experience with debugging, testing, and optimizing web applications for performance and usability.
- Familiarity with integration of front-end components with back-end services and APIs.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Salesforce Lightning Web Components.
- This position is based at our JPDC3A - NON-STPI office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
