As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to understand requirements, coding and enhancing software components, and utilizing modern frameworks and agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-performing solutions. You will also participate in problem-solving discussions and contribute to the overall success of the projects you are involved in.

Job Description

Experience in Aviation Domain including Flight Operations and OCC.

Reasonable understanding of crew Management, Flight Operations, Training Planning , Manpower Planning, Fleet Planning & Tracking, Crew Planning & Tracking.

Roles & Responsibilities

Examining and evaluating current systems.

Identifying system requirements.

Liaising With Users To Track Additional Requirements And Features.

Learn and help in software development and documentation and provide test data to Development team.

Creating BRDs, ICD, business solutions design document.

Feasibility of solutions

Knowledge of business information systems.

Excellent analytical skills.

A good problem-solving attitude.

Should have self-learning attitude.

Responsible for defining business problem, business objectives and key business requirements,

Modelling requirements to restate and clarify them.

Study requirements feasibility to determine the requirements are technically, operationally, and economically viable.

Trade off requirements to determine most feasible requirement alternative.

Assessing requirements for associated risks and constraints.

Prioritize requirements based on business need and development capacity available within Digital.

Should understand the SDLC process and able to create Use cases, scenarios, and test data in Operations system s.

Responsible for driving the requirements process, scheduling meetings, merging input, influencing stakeholders, and ensuring decisions are made.

Support the solution manager with scoping and baselining of solution and BAU requirements with respect to Systems.

Hands on experience with user acceptance testing and working knowledge of all phases of SDLC.

Coordinate the development of all approved versions of business and functional specifications.

Expertise with requirement and project related documentation and ability to build and manage document repository. Knowledge of document management standards preferred

Ability to lead and support cross functional business teams as and when required as part of business solutioning exercise.

Ability to work independently and liaise with cross functional teams.

Any Certification will be a plus.

Ability to work with senior level stakeholders of large organization.

Work collaboratively with development partners and complete deliverables.

  • Sound knowledge of software s like Visio, Project, Word, Excel, database,

Additional Notes

  • System Analysis, Project Management, Business Analysis certification will be preferred
  • This project is based out of Gurugram location
  • Need to visit office 5 days a week
