As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components, and collaborating with team members to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions using modern frameworks and agile methodologies. You will also participate in discussions to address challenges and contribute to the overall success of the projects you are involved in.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Risk Management.
- Strong analytical skills to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies and tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure understanding of risk management processes.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle and agile methodologies
- Strong experience in vulnerability management, patching, and system security.
- Working knowledge of Java, IBM MQ, SFTP, and NDM/Connect:Direct.
- Hands on experience with SSL/TLS certificates, keystores, truststores, and encryption.
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts, CI/CD, and automation tools
Vulnerability Management
- Perform application vulnerability assessments and participate in remediation efforts.
- Execute annual password rotations for applications, services, and integrations.
- Manage full certificate lifecyclerenewal, deployment, and validation.
Release & Upgrade Engineering . coordinate with infrastructure teams
- Plan and execute upgrades for:
- Java runtime environments
- IBM MQ
- SFTP components
- NDM/Connect:Direct
- Redis/Rabbit MQ
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Risk Management.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
