Who we are looking for
We are seeking an Officer‑level Risk Reporting & SSRS Solutions developer to implement enterprise‑grade SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) solutions supporting regulatory, client, and risk management reporting. This role is hands‑on and delivery‑focused, with accountability for end‑to‑end reporting lifecycle-from requirements interpretation and data modeling through report development, scheduling, distribution, and production support.
You will partner closely with Risk Analytics, Data Engineering, and Product teams to translate complex risk data from the truView risk platform into accurate, controlled, and consumable reports, while continuously improving performance, reliability, governance, and automation across the reporting stack.
Why this role is important to us
This role sits within Risk Analytics Services and supports the firm's global risk reporting strategy. The focus is on standardized and bespoke SSRS reporting built on SQL Server-based risk data platforms, ensuring consistent delivery of high‑quality reporting outputs aligned to regulatory expectations and internal control standards.
What you will be responsible for
SSRS Report Design & Development
Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports (parameterized, drill‑through, subscription‑based) for regulatory, custom, and management reporting use cases.
Build complex report logic using T‑SQL, stored procedures, and optimized datasets to support large‑volume, time‑sensitive risk reporting.
Ensure reports are scalable, and aligned to enterprise layout and usability standards.
Reporting Data Enablement
Partner with data engineering and risk analytics teams to define reporting data models, views, and aggregations optimized for SSRS consumption.
Validate data completeness, accuracy, and reconciliation between source systems and published reports.
Support controlled transformations and calculations required specifically for reporting outputs.
Production Operations & Reliability
Own SSRS job scheduling, subscriptions, and distribution workflows ensure timely and reliable report delivery.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and run‑books for reporting failures, delays, or data quality issues.
Participate in incident triage, root‑cause analysis, and remediation related to reporting processes.
Controls, Governance & Compliance
Embed auditability, lineage, and validation controls within reporting solutions to meet internal policy and external regulatory requirements.
Support documentation of report logic, data definitions, and control points for audits and regulatory reviews.
Ensure adherence to information classification and access‑control standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
Work directly with risk stakeholders, product partners, and operations teams to clarify requirements, manage expectations, and communicate delivery status.
Support both standardized reporting and custom client‑specific report requests with appropriate governance.
Continuous Improvement
Drive simplification and standardization of SSRS report patterns and shared datasets.
Contribute to migration or modernization initiatives (e.g., SSRS optimization, shared semantic layers, API‑based distribution where applicable).
What we value
Core Requirements
Deep hands‑on experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), including complex layouts, parameters, drill‑downs, and subscriptions.
Advanced SQL Server / T‑SQL skills, including query optimization for high‑volume reporting workloads.
Understanding of risk data and financial reporting concepts (market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, or regulatory reporting preferred).
Experience supporting production reporting environments with strict SLAs and control expectations.
Preferred / Nice to Have
Experience with custom risk reporting for clients or regulators.
Familiarity with SQL Server data marts, SSCD/Snowflake, or enterprise risk data platforms.
Exposure to .NET for report utilities or SSRS extensions.
Experience working within regulated financial services environments.
Other types of reporting platforms, Tableau / Power BI, etc.
Knowledge of reporting modernization patterns (shared datasets, semantic layers, API‑based delivery).
Education & Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience in reporting, data analytics, or risk technology roles.
Proven track record delivering enterprise‑grade SSRS reporting in production environments.
Experience working in global, matrixed delivery models.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

Production support & reliability: 20%
