About the Role
SVSSPF / Solar Village Project is seeking a CSR Coordinator / CSR Manager to support the non-technical side of our community development and clean energy programs. This role will help manage project coordination, stakeholder engagement, needs assessments, communications, documentation, and impact evaluation across projects serving under-served communities.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in CSR, nonprofit program management, or community development who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the planning and implementation of projects and programs
- Conduct and organize needs assessments, baseline data collection, field documentation, and report compilation
- Lead stakeholder outreach and communications with schools, clinics, community leaders, local institutions, and partner organizations
- Support community engagement and beneficiary coordination throughout the project cycle
- Help lead impact evaluation activities, including surveys, focus groups, beneficiary feedback collection, and reporting
- Prepare progress updates, reports, presentations, case studies, and donor- or sponsor-facing documentation
- Track deliverables, timelines, and reporting requirements across multiple projects
- Work closely with internal teams to support smooth, efficient, and well-documented program execution
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in social work, rural development, public policy, development studies, sociology, communications, or a related field
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in CSR, nonprofit programs, community development, education, public health, livelihoods, or related sectors is required
- Experience in CSR project coordination, stakeholder management, and field-based program implementation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi
- Experience with needs assessments, surveys, monitoring and evaluation, and field reporting is required
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable engaging with external stakeholders and representing the organization professionally
- Experience working in rural or underserved communities in North India is strongly preferred
- Candidates based in or around Lucknow or Kanpur will be preferred
Preferred Profile
- Prior experience with CSR-funded projects or donor-supported programs
- Familiarity with impact evaluation, beneficiary data collection, and reporting processes

While technical solar design and engineering will remain with the technical team, this role will help manage the broader programmatic, community, and stakeholder side of implementation.
