Job Summary:
NXL Technology is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Crypto Risk Manager / Research Manager to join our growing digital asset team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cryptocurrency markets, risk assessment, financial research, and data-driven forecasting. This role involves monitoring market trends, evaluating risk exposure, and providing strategic insights to support informed investment and operational decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain projects, and digital asset trends.
- Develop and implement risk management frameworks for crypto trading, investment strategies, and portfolio management.
- Monitor market volatility, liquidity risks, and regulatory developments impacting the crypto industry.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to forecast market movements and potential risks.
- Prepare comprehensive research reports, risk assessments, and market insights for management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with trading, finance, and technology teams to optimize risk mitigation strategies.
- Track on-chain metrics, trading volumes, and macroeconomic indicators affecting digital assets.
- Ensure compliance with internal risk policies and industry regulations.
- Identify emerging opportunities and potential threats in the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
Required Qualifications:
- 35 years of experience in crypto research, financial risk management, trading analysis, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and DeFi ecosystems.
- Experience with risk modeling, financial forecasting, and market analytics tools.
- Proficiency in data analysis, Excel, Python, SQL, or financial analytics platforms is a plus.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with crypto trading platforms, on-chain analytics tools, or portfolio management systems.
- Understanding of tokenomics, derivatives trading, and liquidity risk management.
- Familiarity with risk compliance frameworks and financial regulations related to digital assets.
