Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, and contributing to the specification and documentation of new project features. You will play a key role in improving system reliability, performance, and security across cloud-native environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, or similar tools
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and scripting languages
- Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline deployment and release processes
- Write and maintain automation scripts using Python, Shell, Groovy, Perl, Java, or Bash
- Monitor system performance and reliability; troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues
- Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and DevOps processes
- Take ownership of DevOps best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years of experience managing Linux-based infrastructure
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with at least one scripting language
- Strong hands-on experience with the following mandatory technologies :
- AWS
- Terraform
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab)
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles, automation, and cloud-native architectures
Good To Have
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as :
- Prometheus
- Grafana
- Kibana
- ELK Stack
- Strong knowledge of Shell scripting and/or Python
