DWM is seeking a Credit Risk Monitoring and Reporting Analyst to work with our investment professionals in the Credit Risk team. The Analyst will be based in Gift City, India and will work closely with DWM's Risk and Debt teams. The Analyst will report to the Risk Team and assist in the Reporting and Monitoring of DWM's current and prospective investments globally. The Credit Risk Monitoring and Reporting role responsibilities include the collection and maintenance of risk of data, along with supporting the access and reporting. The detailed description and qualifications are listed below.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring global credit investments, maintenance of data collection process, reconciliation of database, and reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze the financial performance of portfolio companies to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of DWM's investments in such companies.
  • Monthly uploads of Risk Monitoring Templates from MFI's, including review of completeness and accuracy as well as following up with MFI's to ensure their timely reporting.
  • Working with Risk Team regional members to ensure the timely upload of new loan borrowers / loans into the Risk database
  • Maintaining reconciliations of all data, loan covenants, MFI reporting, and alignment of balances between databases
  • Ensure complete, accurate, and timely reporting per DWM fund agreements
  • Assist in providing access to risk data setting up reports for users as required using IT supported visualization tools
  • Initial monitoring of covenants, with follow-up to the MFI's for confirmation
  • Assist on the creation and maintenance of ad-hoc reports and data collection projects both for internal usage and for prospective investors.
  • Assist in the creation, development and upkeep of the firm's financial and credit analysis models, portfolio management systems and processes.
  • Contribute as an enthusiastic member of the DWM team; taking the lead in various organizational tasks in support of portfolio monitoring.
  • In addition to above, flexibility to support other teams as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Strong ability to manage data and reporting; background in accounting, finance and/or economics preferred
  • Basic understanding of credit a plus, strong mathematical or statistical coursework required
  • Proficiency with database and spreadsheet software, particularly Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Experience with Excel modeling
  • Prior experience with computer programming languages (Python, VBA, SQL, etc.) would be beneficial
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; specifically, the ability to present and communicate complex ideas and analysis to a variety of audiences
  • A college degree with strong academic performance
  • Commitment to social and economic development
